From the way they are presented to the care in preparing and canning of these little sardines, you know you are in for a sardine treat!
These small sardines are cooked, steamed, and then packed in olive oil. The 20/25 number refers to the approximate number of sardines in the can. Curously, with a lot of variety of seafood the larger the product the more sought after it is, however, with sardines it’s the opposite!
One of the many ways we like to eat them is on a cracker and horseradish cream.
