These gourmet vegetables from La Catedral de Navarra boast an outstanding and refined flavor. This brand focuses on preserving the flavour and texture of the recently hand-picked harvested vegetables.
Rigor in the quality, and care is taken during handling and processing of the vegetables. The products are elaborated and preserved immediately on arrival from the field, and each step of the process is intended to safeguard their full authentic flavor.
Piquillo peppers are small and sweet red peppers. La Catedral de Navarra hand picks the peppers, then fire roasts these exquisite peppers. After fire roasting, the peppers are hand peeled and packed dry. This is the traditional process to protect the intensity of the pepper recently removed from the fire.
True Lodosa Piquillo peppers are prepared in this way under the Piquillo pepper Regulating Council of Lodosa.La Catedral Piquillo peppers are approved under the DO seal, classified as Denominación de Origen (Protected designation of origin) 'Piquillo de Lodosa'.
