LC Confit Piquillo Peppers (125g)
Oh wow! We were blown away at Spanish Pig when we tried these beauties. If you have had piquillo peppers before these will seriously impress you. A luxury version in that they have been confit in olive oil. If you haven't had piquillo peppers before this is the best way, by far, of trying them for the first time.
These gourmet vegetables from La Catedral de Navarra boast an outstanding and refined flavor. This brand focuses on preserving the flavor and texture of the recently hand-picked harvested vegetables. Rigor in the quality and care is taken during handling and processing of the vegetables.
The talented and good people who produce this at LC recommend to open the tin and place them over the crackers. Keep aside one pepper, cut into very small pieces and mix it with a spoon of mayonnaise. Place a chunk of White tuna belly on top the pepper and decorate it with the mayonnaise.To finish sprinkle the pepper with some small pieces of fresh parsley and grounded black pepper.
