At Spanish Pig, we strive to offer the widest selection of Spanish food with an easy online shopping experience.
Please note that we only ship within Canada. If you are shipping to a PO Address this can only be done with Canada Post and may delay your order in some instances.
How are shipping costs calculated?
When you place an order with Spanish Pig, you will be able to select your shipping option at checkout and the cost of shipping will be calculated at this point. The cost of shipping will depend on where you live and if you choose Standard or Urgent shipping. Orders over $99 in Ontario and Quebec qualify for free shipping and will be sent urgently if the product/s require it. Orders for other provinces in Canada are calculated at checkout.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
You can select standard or urgent shipping at checkout. If your order is over $99, we will ship standard unless you have purchased something that is thermically challenged, in which case it will be sent urgent. Urgent packages generally take 24 hours from when they are shipped (please see section below). Standard shipping can vary from 2-8 days depending on location.
When will my order be sent?
Orders placed will be sent out from our Mississauga warehouse from Mondays to Thursday. This is to ensure that you order is not delayed at the couriers warehouse over the weekend. If you make an order on Wednesday after 12pm, it will be sent out on Monday. Exceptions can be made by contacting us at 647-209-8884. Our shipping methods reference business day delivery only and do not include Saturday or Sundays. Weekend delivery is available in some areas at an additional charge. Please contact Spanish Pig if you would like to add this service to your order.
A tracking number will be sent to you via email once your order has been dispatched.
How do you package my order?
We take the utmost care that your order will arrive at your doorstep in great condition. Each order is packaged carefully to ensure it is protected on route to you. Products that do require cooling will be sent in thermal mailers with ice packs. Note that our charcuterie products are vacuum sealed and while are best kept refrigerated they do not require constant refrigeration and therefore are safe in transit. Our frozen meats are wrapped in ice blankets and sent in thermal mailers. They are always sent by overnight shipping for next day delivery. We can not guarantee they will arrive frozen.
