Recipe: Chorizo & Piquillo Pepper Sauce Pintxos

Ingredients (available at spanishpig.ca):

  • 1 jar Rosara Piquillo Pepper Sauce (212ml)

  • 1 Chorizo Ibérico sausage (sliced and lightly sautéed)

  • Andrés Gaviño Olive Oil Tortas or crusty bread

  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  • Optional: Manchego cheese shavings

Instructions:

  1. Warm the piquillo pepper sauce in a small pan.

  2. Top each torta or toasted bread slice with a spoonful of warm sauce.

  3. Add a slice of sautéed chorizo and a drizzle of olive oil.

  4. Finish with Manchego shavings if desired.
