The 2023 El Pájaro Rojo is a vibrant expression of pure Mencía from Bierzo’s Losada Vinos de Finca. Crafted from 30‑ to 40‑year‑old vineyards—especially in cooler sites like Valtuille de Abajo, Pieros, and Corullón—it’s deliberately youthful, fresh, and true to its terroir .

This wine undergoes a traditional vinification: hand-harvested grapes are fermented with native yeasts, followed by four months of ageing in French oak barrels, enhancing texture without overshadowing fruit . The result is soft, velvety, and approachable—with delicate violet florals and bright red berries on the nose that carry through to a rich, unctuous palate .

Critically acclaimed, the 2023 vintage earned a solid 90 points from both James Suckling and Tim Atkin, praising its “fresh blueberries, mulberries and dark cherries,” lively medium body, and medium-length finish, with recommendations to drink now through 2026 .

Tasting at a modest 13.5–14% ABV, it balances freshness and structure, supported by subtle tannins and mineral depth . Despite being youthful, it shows pleasing complexity: earthy-meaty undertones, ripe fruit, and a soft-textured finish .

This Vermut is made with the best olorosos and Pedros Ximénez, with a mix of 27 botanists and macerated for months in our oloroso casks, then aged in a solera system for 8 years. It a soft start and a markedly sour profile, finding orange peel, cinnamon and wormwood. A very good Spanish Vermut, ideal as an aperitif or in classic cocktail.

A private reserve collaboration wine with Cellers Joan D'Anguera Maiols is an organically grown, low-intervention Grenache. 

This wine channels a sense of place and terroir incredibly well. Grapes were grown in white clay and sandy soils in Darmós, Spain in the southern region of the Montsant D.O. 

Seventh-generation winemakers Joan and Josep d'Anguera have finessed Grenache into this lifted, ethereal red. Medium-bodied, complex and refreshing, expect strawberry fruit leather, cherry, an herbal note and subtle tannins.

It has less concentration and alcohol than the 2022, with more finesse and freshness and is a little more herbal. This is a superb example of Albariño from Salnés. 84,000 bottles produced. 2022 was dry year with a pure expression of Montsant's Mediterranean terrior. More flower and fruit expression and volume. 85% syrah and 15% grenache gris this cuvee has more depth, tannin and acidity than your average rosé, it may be worth considering this as a light red. A gorgeous interplay between dual limestone and decomposed granitic soils. Half of the grapes were directly pressed, and half saw 18-hours of skin contact, giving it a gorgeous deep pink hue. This was Cosecha's first collaboration wine made at harvest in 2018. 

Now a success in Canada, Spain, the UK and Germany, the name, a nod to the iconic Jimi Hendrix song Foxy Lady, is an unconventionally delicious wine with notes of strawberry, fresh cut watermelon, grapefruit, cinnamon and pepper. 

There’s a good amount of power with Foxy Lady, with a generous palate and a deliciously saline finish.
