Radical Ribera del Duero 2022

Radical Ribera del Duero 2022 is a powerful yet refined expression of Spain’s iconic Tempranillo grape. Sourced from high-altitude vineyards in Ribera del Duero, it captures both the sun-baked ripeness of the region and the elegance that comes from its limestone soils and cool nights. The result is a deep ruby wine bursting with aromas of black cherry, plum, and blackberry, accented by notes of cocoa, vanilla, and toasted spice from its time in oak.

On the palate, it’s generous and layered — ripe dark fruit wrapped in fine tannins and lifted by a bright, balancing acidity. Each sip unfolds beautifully, revealing subtle hints of espresso and a whisper of earth that lingers long after the last drop.

I have to admit, this is one of my personal favourites. There’s something about Radical 2022 that feels effortlessly impressive — bold enough to make a statement, but polished enough to pour for any occasion.

Perfect with roasted lamb, grilled steak, aged Manchego, or a simple plate of Ibérico charcutería, Radical Ribera del Duero 2022 is a reminder of why Spanish reds continue to set the bar for richness, depth, and pure drinkability.
