Another Canadian exclusive to Spanish Pig are these wonderful spicy sardines by La Curiosa. Once caught, they are cleaned meticulously by hand before being toasted, the traditional way, giving them the desired texture with the objective that they don't break. They are then finally packed lovingly by hand, one by one before being covered in good quality olive oil and chlli. Perfect amount of spice.
Another aspect we love about Curiosa cans are that they come with covers. In the unlikely event you have any left over you can pop on the lid, stick it in the fridge and leave for the next day or two.
