A bright, coastal Albariño from Xurxo Alba and his family in Galicia’s Rías Baixas. Made from 100% Albariño grown around Castrelo in the Salnés Valley, this is a characterful Spanish white with citrus freshness, a mineral edge and the saline character that makes the region’s wines such natural partners for seafood.
Hand-picked grapes ferment with native yeasts, with the wine raised mainly in tank alongside a small proportion of neutral oak. Think lively lemon, delicate peach and an appetite-sharpening finish.
Our pairing suggestions: Galician conservas, grilled prawns, mussels or a plate of boquerones and good bread. Serve chilled.
