Alta Alella Mirgin Reserva Brut Nature Cava 2022 is a refined organic sparkling wine from Art Laietà d’Alta Alella, a family winery set close to the Mediterranean in the Serralada de Marina Natural Park, just outside Barcelona.

Made from the classic Cava varieties Pansa Blanca (Xarel-lo), Macabeo and Parellada, the 2022 vintage is vinified separately before blending and spends extended time ageing on its lees. The result is a bone-dry, beautifully balanced Cava with fine bubbles and a distinctive Mediterranean character.

Expect fresh citrus and orchard fruit, followed by notes of toasted bread, hazelnut and subtle brioche. The palate is crisp and energetic, with excellent minerality and a lightly saline finish that gives the wine real precision and food-friendly appeal.

This is an especially versatile Cava for the table. Pair it with Jamón Ibérico, Manchego, anchovies, oysters, grilled seafood, sardines, fried calamari, croquetas, pan con tomate, olives or Marcona almonds. It is equally impressive served simply as a very dry aperitif.
