Prestes Tetilla P.D.O. is a classic Galician cow’s milk cheese, instantly recognizable by its distinctive rounded, conical shape. Its name, Tetilla, refers to this traditional form, which has become one of the most recognizable symbols of Galicia’s rich cheesemaking heritage.

Protected by the Tetilla Cheese Protected Designation of Origin, it is produced in Galicia according to carefully regulated methods using whole cow’s milk. Beneath its thin, pale golden rind, the cheese has a smooth, supple interior with an ivory-yellow colour and a wonderfully creamy, yielding texture. Its flavour is gentle and approachable: fresh and milky, with delicate buttery notes, a subtle sweetness and just enough light acidity to keep each bite beautifully balanced. Mild rather than sharp, it is an excellent choice for both experienced cheese lovers and those who prefer softer, less intense varieties.
